MORGAN: The burger at Bartley's was what I call "heaven on bun". The french fries were good, not the best, but still good. Their service was nice, but there was one problem; the price. The price of my burger was about 10 dollars. Me and my dad each got a burger and we got one burger to go for the person at home. It all added up to be around $40. We could have gone to Flat Patties and gotten a burger that was just about as good three times and it would not have added up to the price of the Bartley's burger. Bartley's has good burgers, good service, good fries, bad pricing.
SAM: No beer... I couldn't agree more with Morgan; way too expensive. But, the burger was a monster. Not like the other reviewed burgers, this was like the big old grandpa burger of the burger family. And for the first time, they asked me how I wanted it cooked, and they got it right, medium rare. Every other person in the place, and it was packed, wanted their burger medium-well, which means not a single one of them actually likes the taste of hamburger, by the way, which is very frustrating. The fries were forgettable. The "ambiance", 53 year old posters, does not constitute an "experience". The names on the burgers were moderately to not-at-all amusing. I guess I am bitter that a. it cost almost 40 bucks, b. I am too full, and 3. it has ranked as our #1 pick, but I will not go back.
